The Heart Behind the Art
My name is Neon, and I am the artist and founder behind OneWeirdChick.
When you purchase a piece of my work, you are supporting more than just a brand; you are supporting a family. I am a mother of four, and my art is the engine that drives us forward. I am a full-time artist and caregiver for my youngest son, who is on the autism spectrum. This requires a life that is flexible, creative, and resilientwhich is exactly what I pour into every single pair of shoes and accessory I create.
Why I Do This
After walking away from a domestic violence situation, I found myself navigating life as a single mother, working to rebuild from the ground up while currently experiencing homelessness. In the face of these challenges, my art became my sanctuary and our lifeline.
I use my platform to create a life for my children that I never had growing up. Every stitch, every sculpt, and every dollar earned goes directly toward providing us with a safe, stable home and the freedom to grow.
My Mission
My goal is simple: to pursue my creative purpose while ensuring my children are cared for and empowered. When you choose to support OneWeirdChick, you aren’t just buying a pair of shoes; you are investing in our stability, our future, and the freedom we are working so hard to secure.

What Sets Us Apart
Raw Materials
Our process is a mix of blank canvas and a bit of treasure hunting. We’re big on sustainability, so we love incorporating recycled and unconventional objects into our work. From there, we hand-sculpt the details to give every piece its unique shape and soul, making sure the base is tough but the art is one-of-a-kind.
Work In Progress
This is where the real magic happens. We spend hours hand-sculpting every detail, layering on the character until the vision feels right. It’s a slow, manual process where we turn those unconventional foundations into something structural, wearable, and completely original.
Final Touch
Where imagination meets the pavement. We use AI to ONLY remove the backgrounds of photos until we can afford professional photograghy
